Ray answers the phone. Ray quotes the job. That's the whole business.
Twenty-five years of clearing driveways, sheds and worksites across Central Victoria — one job, one handshake at a time.
Ray — 25 years on Central Victorian driveways
Started with a ute. Kept the phone number.
Ray started A.R.E in 2001 doing single-load jobs around Bendigo out of a ute and a mobile phone. Word got around. The trucks got bigger, the crew came on, and eventually a proper depot in Kennington — but the way the work gets done never changed.
We've never hired out skip bins and never will. A bin makes the customer do the lifting. We'd rather turn up, carry it out ourselves and have the whole lot gone the same day — usually cheaper than the bin would have cost.
Twenty-five years later, Ray's still the one answering the phone. Still quoting on-site for free. Still turning up the same day. That's not a slogan — it's the whole business plan.
What hasn't changed: the way we sort every load, the way we quote, and the way we treat the people whose driveways we're on.
Three rules we've kept for 25 years.
The owner answers
Ring at 6am, ring at 10pm — Ray picks up. No dispatcher, no ticket number, no callback next Tuesday.
Free on-site quotes
We come, we walk it, we quote it. Written price before you commit. No "guesstimate" that doubles on the day.
Sort it, don't dump it
Every load goes to our depot first. Metals, timber, whitegoods, e-waste, cardboard — each to the right recycler. Landfill is the last option.
The paperwork, the insurance, the disposal tickets — all sorted.
We're a licensed rubbish collection service. Fully insured. Deceased-estate friendly. Ask for a disposal certificate on any load and you'll get one.
